AlphaMate¶
AlphaMate is software package for optimising selection, maintenance of diversity, and mate allocation in breeding programs. A range of breeding programs can be optimised with AlphaMate (animal, crop, tree, fish, ...). A short description is given in Gorjanc and Hickey (2018), while a detailed description is given in the manual. All information on the desired targets, mating constraints, and optimisation controls is specified in a single parameter file.
NODE FEATURES: This software runs only on Intel hardware, make sure to request a partition with an Intel CPU only.
